MEET LILY

BIO 

Hi! I'm Lily. I'm so excited to be working with the Untamed Petals team. I'm originally from San Diego and spend my time going to school at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. I'm a Graphic Communications major with a passion for art and design. I love traveling to new places, hanging out with friends and family, and watching The Office!

Who was the last person you called?

My mom, who is also my best friend. We talk almost every day.

What’s the top destination on your bucket list?

Europe! I’m planning my first trip there in November and I couldn’t be more excited.

What’s your staple clothing item?

Some sort of denim. I love denim jackets, skirts, jeans, you name it. Also, I have a jewelry obsession so you’ll rarely find me without a dainty, gold necklace on.

What would your perfect day consist of?

I would love to go to the beach with some great friends and fall asleep in the sun (with sunscreen on of course). 

What makes you happiest?

Spending quality time with the people I love. And thai food!

Do you have a favorite store?

I love shopping at boutiques either here in SLO or in my hometown, San Diego, because you can find super cute, unique clothes and support local businesses.

Who was the last person you called?

My roommate because I was locked out... it's a daily occurrence, but she's my best friend so she can't get sick of me!

What’s the top destination on your bucket list?

Greece!! I didn't make it there while studying abroad in Europe, but it gives me an excuse to return!

What’s your staple clothing item?

Does jewelry count? If so, my turquoise rings are an absolute staple! My uncle makes gorgeous silver rings -- inspired by my great grandma's Native American jewelry collection -- that I have been rocking since I was little! I never take off 4 of them, and the others I love to mix around. 

What would your perfect day consist of?

A summer day in San Diego: grabbing an acai bowl with my best friends, tanning at our favorite local beach, and ending the day with a burrito from our neighborhood taco shop!

What makes you happiest?

When those around me are happy! If I was a part of making them smile, even better. Also, when my friends text me for outfit styling advice :)

Do you have a favorite store?

This is an impossible question for me because my favorite part of shopping is styling outfits from many stores! I also love thrifting, the hunt to find those hidden, unique gems is so much fun!
